Accuracy is central to Style Sparkle's journalism. While we verify information carefully before publication, mistakes can occur. When they do, we correct them transparently, promptly, and visibly on the affected article.

We do not hide errors, quietly rewrite articles without disclosure, or use vague language to soften the impact of what went wrong.
How We Handle Mistakes
MINOR ERRORS
Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or typos that do not alter the meaning of the article are corrected promptly without a correction note. These are fixed silently because they do not change what the story says.
FACTUAL ERRORS
Errors involving names, figures, dates, or facts are corrected within the article. A clearly labelled editor's note is added explaining what was corrected and why. We do not remove the original error without acknowledgment.
DEVELOPING STORIES
As news evolves, articles may be updated to reflect new verified information. Updates are time-stamped so readers understand when changes were made and why. Significant updates are disclosed clearly.
SIGNIFICANT ERRORS
Where an error is material — where it changes the meaning, conclusion, or fairness of a piece — the correction note will say so explicitly. We do not use vague language to minimise the seriousness of what went wrong.
Where Corrections Appear
Corrections are made directly on the affected article page. We do not hide corrections or relocate them elsewhere. If a reader encounters an error in an article, the correction will appear on that same article. Depending on the nature of the issue, Style Sparkle may use a correction note, a clarification note, an update note, or a combination of those tools.
What a Correction Request Should Include

Our Commitment to Transparency

- →Remove errors without acknowledgment.
- →Silently alter the substance of a published article when a correction note is warranted.
- →Bury corrections in a place a normal reader would not reasonably notice.
- →Use vague language to obscure what was wrong and how it was fixed.
- →Delay corrections because they are inconvenient for a subject or source.
